Sub-Accounts

GPUGEEK supports creating multiple sub-accounts and allows setting different functional and data permissions to control the visibility range of sub-accounts.

Create Sub-Account

On the [Sub-Account] page under [Account Center], click the [Create Sub-Account] button to jump to the creation page.

  1. Enter the sub-account username and password.
  2. You can choose whether to bind a mobile phone number. If binding, you need to enter the phone number and SMS verification code.

Note: Sub-account usernames always have [@Main Account ID] as a suffix. You must enter the full name when logging in.

Sub-Account Login

For accounts registered on the GPUGEEK platform, click the [Sub-Account Login] button on the login page, and enter the sub-account username (with the @Main Account suffix) and password to log in.

For sub-accounts created on the Shouyun GIC platform, please click [Shouyun Account Login] to log in.

Set Sub-Account Balance

In the sub-account list, you can configure whether to enable sharing of the main account balance.

  1. When sharing the main account balance is enabled, resources created by the sub-account and authorized resources only consume the main account balance.
  2. When sharing the main account balance is disabled, you need to set a balance for the sub-account. In this case, sub-account resources consume both the main account balance and the sub-account balance.
  3. You can also configure whether to force shutdown when the sub-account balance is insufficient.

Set Sub-Account Permissions

On the [Sub-Account] list page, click the [Set Permissions] button in the action column to enter the sub-account permission settings page.

You can set sub-account access permissions for modules such as instance management, image management, file management, and billing center. Options include [Access All Data], [Access Only Own Data], and [No Access].

  1. Access All Data: Same permissions as the main account.
  2. Access Only Own Data: Can only view and manage resources created by themselves or authorized to them.
  3. No Access: The current functional module is invisible.

When selecting [Access Only Own Data], the main account can grant detailed data permissions to the sub-account. Click the [Modify Data Permissions] button in the action column, check the resources to be authorized in the popup window, and after saving, the corresponding resources will be authorized to the sub-account.
